“Heavy Guarded Heart” (HGH) is Aint Afraid’s sophmore album of 2022. Featuring a 14-track collection of songs about healing, independence, gratitude, growth and overcoming. The Rnb hip hop - pop blends of HGH are brilliantly composed. Aint Afraid shows the growth of their vocal elevation, lyricism, and stylistic tastes throughout the album. From ‘Ode to the Hood’ to ‘Last Request’, and then ending on ‘A Moment’. This album is intentional and made for the heart to immerse itself in an honest healing space. With this sonic counsel ; Aint Afraid hopes listeners and fans can embrace the guardianship one has over ones self while still being open to embracing love.

About
Aint Afraid is a multi-talented girl band with twin sisters, Straingth & Wizdumb. Natives of Baltimore, MD; raised in Detroit MI, this duo has been singing since age 2.
Inspired by their mom, a songwriter & artist herself, the girls would perform on stages from early on. The locally known, singing twins, would later become, the multi- talented double dose of dopeness, worldwide; featured in prominent publications and collaborating with major brands.
Since making their debut as recording artists in June 2020, they've garnered millions of streams in less than a year unsurprisingly due to catchy hooks, melodic harmonies, and relatable lyrics for multiple audiences to vibe to.
Their mix of modern pop, hip hop, soul, and r&b is inspired by a diverse group of talent that includes Lauryn Hill, J.Cole, and Beyonce. Talents include songwriting, singing, rap, spoken word, fashion, choreography & more.
Their passion for advocacy can be heard in their music & seen in their community. Connecting to their communities and audiences through expressive art is important to them. Their music and mission moves hearts, and so does their personalities. The Twinsz joyful social media presence, their irresistible blend of rap/hip-hop/pop/r&b sounds have combined into a perfect storm that has resonated with young listeners around the world.

Aint Afraid invites you to listen to their docuseries titled “Heavy Guarded Heart”. This series gives listeners a deeper understanding of their music, lyrics, and where the songs were birthed from - starting with their first single of 2022 and a fan favorite , “Always There”. As said by Straingth " If we are to truly heal and offer a space of healing for listeners, then It is only right that we continue the conversation that our music has started and invite all in to listen, relate, and heal. “

Fun Facts
“Heavy Guarded Heart” The Album was origanally going to be named “Twinty Twinty Two”
Aint Afraid choreographed the dance routines for the “Easier Said” Music video.
A goal for the HGH project for Aint Afraid was to hire, support, and engage BIPOC & women businesses and creators as much as possible - They successfully accomplished this through wardrobe, talent dancers, actors , directors, Makeup artists, crew, catering, and more.
The chorus for “Everything I am” was made on the spot in the studio when The Twinsz realized they loved the melody so much they wanted to extend the song.
“Always There” was written in less than 20 mins.
